James Webb, RN, Director of Nursing, Pecan Tree Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Gainesville, Texas was selected as a finalist by the Texas Health Care Association for Director of Nursing.
The goal of the award is to honor and recognize outstanding Directors of Nursing working in long term care facilities. The candidate must be innovative in dealing with resident and staff issues, and in the delivery of nursing care in the long-term care setting. Further criteria is advancing professional growth in the long term care nursing field.
James is well deserving of this recognition not only for exceeding the criteria but for the care he shares with the residents he is responsible for and the leadership he shows his staff and peers.
